Voices of Women  

Assignment: 

 For this assignment, you will be given three class periods to research the role of women in society during two specific decades.  You will work with a partner and present with your partner. 

Due Date: 

 This will depend on the pace of the class.  Presentations will begin Friday, Jan. 21.

Requirements: 

•  10-25 minutes
•   A glogster  (can include charts, information, multi-media etc.)
•  This assignment is worth 50 points.
•  Information/topics you should include in your research and presentation
  • Historical events and effects of that on women
  • Women and work
  • Marriage, children and family
  • Laws of the time
  • Statistics- factual data (% of women in congress, % of women in the workforce etc.)
  • Fashion/etiquette of the time
  • Significant person of the time- choose one significant person
  • Media of the time
  • Any information on women and Florida at the time
